Summary: The property was as described and perfect for our stay. We were there for Spring Break and unfortunately experienced the historic flooding. But the house was a great base for nearby sightseeing and relaxing.

Summary: We had a great extended family weekend - everything was as expected. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors to relax together. The dock was not accessible due to the high water level (we knew that the water level would be unknown until we got there), everything else was wonderful!

Summary: Beautiful view of water, wildlife, and trees. Well equipped property with everything we needed to cook and store food. Cute deco - fun, stylish lake theme. Comfy place with more than enough room to rest, play games, watch movies, and eat for our group of seven. Convenient to Mammoth Cave (visitor center was about 40 minutes away).

Summary: View was great, planned to do some fishing but the lakes water level was too high to get to our dock.Not the owners fault though.Scenery was beautiful, the cabin was very roomy and nicer than we expected.Had a lot of fun around the fire pit with good friends. Owner has been in contact with me since the day I reserved the stay. I definitely recommend, and we will be back!

Summary: My family had a great time here. We have 4 adults and 4 kids and didn't feel on top of each other. My 4 year old asked if we can come back the next year. pros- very open living area upstairs- very cosy living area downstairs- great views everywhere- big and well furnished deck. - kids loved the kayaks- kitchen was a good size and well stocked- hosts were easy going and communicated well. - loft bedroom was more helpful than we thought it would be. - furniture was newer and in great condition.- yard had a nice flat area compared to most river/lake houses- no fees for my doggie- very cleanCons:- mattresses were cheap and not comfortablenotes:- 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave visiter center- Dock access was blocked by flooding, but not hosts fault and it was spring so we didn't need it. - Some reviews said that it didn't have a firepit. It has a firepit but its rudimentary, but it didn't bother us. We had fires 2 nights.- dock was pretty small. We were not there to swim, but if we were. It would have been a problem.

Summary: The stay was wonderful. There was everything you could want to have for a trip in side the lakehouse. The only thing was, in the basement room with the two double beds, the covers smelled of mildew. We chalked it up to the room being a basement room but other than that, everything was great.

Summary: This lake home is as beautiful and welcoming as the pictures show! The only difference (but positive difference) is in the pictures it shows on a hillside down to the lake which had me a little concerned traveling with children. However upon arrival I was extremely pleased to see the hill had been taken out, an area leveled and a retaining wall installed! Not only did this add safety and beauty to the property it also allowed for additional outdoor space for bochee ball or tossing a football. Plenty of indoor space and outdoor space with the two levels inside and out! The kitchen was fully stocked and equipped and had everything we needed. The single, only downfall was we were only provided with one trash bag. Normally we pack extras just in case and did not this time. A lot of extras were provided such as dishwasher tabs, etc but just the one trash bag. A slight overnight I’m sure and nothing I would deduct from a rating for. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!
